Corporate Social Responsibility

For Sanjaya Mariwala, social responsibility isn’t a formal obligation—it’s an instinctive extension of how he sees leadership. Years ago, he established the Improving Lives Foundation through OmniActive to address pressing needs in rural India. What was once a humble initiative turned into a structured effort designed to advance health, education, and livelihoods where they are most needed.

From sponsoring health camps to advocating clean sources of energy and contributing towards school infrastructure, efforts from the foundation have been all about creating lasting influence.

Outside the corporate sphere, Sanjaya also founded Caddy Fund, an unobtrusive but important initiative which supports over 200 caddies and their families at his golf club. It can be financing medical emergencies, school tuition, or off-season financial assistance, and it is also a cushion for those most often invisible.

He also remains active in his charitable efforts through his family’s Mariwala Foundation. The foundation donates towards such activities like cancer care, rural hospitals, and education institutions all over India.

Across these efforts, Sanjaya’s approach remains consistent—identifying needs, building trust, and offering support without fanfare. Only a deep-seated belief that real change happens through steady, thoughtful engagement. His story is a quiet but powerful reminder that leadership is not only about growing businesses—it’s also about growing hope where it’s needed most.
